1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Syllabyte Schools (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, you may not access or use the Service. The Service is licensed to schools through Apple School Manager.

2. Eligibility & School Accounts

Syllabyte Schools is designed for K–12 students, educators, and school administrators. Access is provisioned by your school through Apple School Manager. You agree to use the Service only for legitimate educational purposes and in compliance with your school's acceptable-use policies.

3. Your Account & Content

• You are responsible for keeping your school-provided account credentials secure.
• You retain ownership of the content you submit (such as notes or study materials) and grant us a limited license to process it solely to provide the Service.
• You agree not to upload content that is unlawful, infringing, or harmful.

4. Acceptable Use

• Do not attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer, or misuse the Service or its AI features.
• Do not use the AI tutoring tools to generate harmful, misleading, or academic-dishonest content.
• Do not share your account access with individuals outside your school's license.

5. AI-Assisted Features

The Service includes AI-assisted tutoring and study tools. AI-generated content may not always be accurate and should be reviewed by a responsible educator or learner. You are responsible for how you use AI-generated suggestions.

6. Licensing & Fees

Syllabyte Schools is distributed and licensed exclusively through Apple School Manager. There are no individual in-app purchases or consumer subscriptions. Your school's license governs your access.

7. Termination

We may suspend or terminate access for violations of these Terms. Your school may also end your access by removing your provisioned account. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases.

8. Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Syllabyte is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.

9. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated through the Service or your school administrator. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
